Alice Grisham

Artist and Author of Children's Books




A retired art and gifted teacher, Alice Grisham's love of history and art inspired her to write childrens books. A local gallery displayed her watercolors, and theater production companies have used her jewelry and costumes. Her Florida home is filled with her thimble, doll and Eiffel Tower collections. She loves traveling, especially to Europe, and has traced her family back to European royalty.

She loves her two cats, a grey Maine Coon named Fat Cat, and Chin Chin, a Sable Burmese. She has two sons and five grandchildren‒four boys and one girl, and has been married to her husband, Jimmy, for 30 years.
